Always remember to ask these questions of any company you’re vetting to do an installation:

How long has the company been in business?

How many systems have they installed?

How long will the installation take?

Who pays for the permits?

Is it a roof-mount system or ground-mount system?

Who applies for any grants and submits all the paperwork?

LED bulbs can save you money if you are careful!

February 24, 2014 by

LED bulbs can replace traditional ones.  Choose carefully where they are placed.  LEDs are cool to the touch but usually have a heat sink that pulls the the heat to the base and out.  Enclosed fixtures may shorten bulb life.  Dimmer switchers for incandescent lights control the amount of electricity going to the light, so make sure you search for LED’s that are compatible with traditional dimmers or get new switches.
